Meet Daneita-Your Trusted Doula

Daneita Blalock-Hudson is a mom, foster/adopted parent, entrepreneur, coupon extraordinaire, community advocate, Doula and student midwife. For Daneita it is nothing more amazing than seeing life being given and helping families with the transition. 

Daneita has worked to teach families that they have a voice and that they are their greatest advocate, not only for themselves but for their baby and their futures. Daneita's passion in this work started 7 years ago and has now resulted in over 150+ families, babies & births. 

Daneita launched 4theJourney Birth & Postpartum services, a business that is committed to providing support for all, by providing education, empowerment, advocacy, and community resources. Daneita has specialized in working with families, through teen pregnancy, AMA (advanced maternal age), disabilities, infertility & adoption support and postpartum. 

Daneita has collaborated with Be Affirmed Doula Services (Jahlisa Murphy) and has created Be the Motherhood Village. The Motherhood Village is an authentic space that cultivates what it truly means to be a village. There is power in community and being able to do life, and parenthood together.
